There’s a reason Dr Bregman has been voted top foot doctor for the last 4 years in a row. I just had my foot surgery two weeks ago and from start to finish, from initial consultation to post op, I have always felt secure and confident I was in the best of hands. Dr Bregman is experienced and knowledgeable and has a great personality and he also has the best staff in the business. Manny filled out my FMLA paperwork and it was approved quickly and without a hitch. The staff are always welcoming and caring. I always feel at ease and happy after visiting his office. I know my journey with them is almost over ( in two weeks) and I know I will miss them. I almost wish it wasn’t over so soon.
I was seeing another podiatrist for about a year, and he kept misdiagnosing my foot issue and recommended stretching exercises or rolling my foot on a ball. He claimed I had plantar fasciitis. After months of me insisting something else was wrong, he finally ordered an MRI and sure enough,
I had a growth in my foot about the size of a walnut, that was causing me pain and atrophy of the toe muscles. That doctor didn’t seem confident that he could do the surgery and he tried to convince me to just “live with the pain”, and that it wasn’t anything too serious. Then Covid happened and I had to postpone surgery and it was a blessing in disguise as I was then referred to Dr Bregman by my new PCP. At our initial consultation he did an ultrasound of my foot and instantly saw the problem and gave a possible diagnosis of a schwannoma. He was correct.
