Here is my almost 2.5 months post decompression surgery (by Peter Bregman, Las Vegas)
I have waited to post because I have felt discomfort from my two toes around incision being stiff. I was not sure if it was just from being that I had surgery or if I was feeling my nerve. Well I would say after stretching and getting a compression ankle brace Imi don’t think I was feeling my nerve/neuroma, but just my stiffness from my foot being cut.
At this point in my journey I do not feel my neuroma and it does seem that I am healed from any pain. I am able to go on long walks, short runs, and have just began doing some beginner level aerobics. (Taking it slow to be sure I don’t push it) AND I feel no pain!!
I am very glad I did my research and made the ultimate decision to move forward with decompression.
Oh and I can walk bare foot and not limp or walk side foot with no pain. Though I don’t do it a lot because I don’t want to go back lol
